Next school year, schools throughout the District including Westmoor will see a change to their school day start and end times. In order to take steps to make planning time more equitable among elementary teachers and other teachers in the district, the elementary day has been shortened by ten minutes. By slightly reducing the duration of the school day, schools can redistribute time to enhance the quality of education while respecting teachers' workload and well-being. The new times take into account logistical considerations such as transportation, food service, and after-school activities.
Start and End times for Westmoor for the 2024-2025 school year are as follows:
